Scope

This policy applies to the BiBimba app and website.

Personal information

There is no separate BiBimba account to create. At checkout, or when a complimentary license is granted individually, we handle the email address used to receive license verification codes.

Purchases and license verification

Stripe processes payments. Cloudflare and Resend are used to confirm purchases and complimentary licenses, verify licenses, and send verification codes. We handle the email address, purchase or complimentary-grant identifier, a random installation identifier generated by the app, verification-email language, activation state, and last license-status-check time. BiBimba does not use your Apple ID, Mac serial number, or iCloud account. This information is used to enforce the active-Mac allowance, authenticate the license, localize the verification email, and provide support; it is not used for advertising or analysis of clipboard and feature usage.

For abuse prevention, Cloudflare processes network connection information needed to handle requests. BiBimba derives a salted hash from the IP address and uses it to separate rate-limit buckets for verification-code requests and purchase checks. The raw IP address is not stored in BiBimba's D1 records.

Data in the app

Clipboard history, screenshots, OCR text, snippets, and settings are stored on your Mac.

Permissions

BiBimba uses Screen Recording for screenshots and screen OCR, and Accessibility for automatic pasting into the previous app. You can change either permission in macOS System Settings.

Updates

When automatic updates are enabled, BiBimba contacts its distribution server to check for a new version. Clipboard history and screenshots are not included.

Website

This website does not use cookies for tracking or audience analytics.

Deleting data

You can delete history in the app. If data remains after removing the app, use “Show Local Data” in Settings to find its location.
